Skills Canada Series - Episode 12 with Laurie Breton

The CWB Association has had the honor of working with Skills/Compétences Canada on a special Podcast Series interviewing members of the National Alumni Committee (NAC) from each province and territory to share their Skills journey. Every year, hundreds of Canadian youth participate in the Skills Canada National Competition and become alumni of their programs. The NAC was formed to create, support, and provide guidance to the Skills Canada provincial and territorial Alumni Associations across the country.

Today’s guest is Laurie Breton, Aircraft Maintenance Technician from Quebec. Laurie chose a career in a skilled trade because she has always enjoyed working with her hands and has a passion for aerospace. Every day, she performs different tasks that are mentally and physically exciting. Laurie became involved with Skills Competitions when her college teacher encouraged her to participate which allowed her to develop her skills further and meet extraordinary people.��
